These terms and conditions apply to the Kinprint app (the “Application”) for iPhone, iPad and Mac and to the kinprintphoto.com website, created by Majestical Roof LLC (the “Service Provider”) as a Commercial service.

Upon downloading or utilizing the Application, you are automatically agreeing to the following terms. It is strongly advised that you thoroughly read and understand these terms prior to using the Application. Unauthorized copying, modification of the Application, any part of the Application, or our trademarks is strictly prohibited. Any attempts to extract the source code of the Application, translate the Application into other languages, or create derivative versions are not permitted. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.

The Service Provider is dedicated to ensuring that the Application is as beneficial and efficient as possible. As such, they reserve the right to modify the Application or charge for their services at any time and for any reason. The Service Provider assures you that any charges for the Application or its services will be clearly communicated to you.

Your photos and content

You keep all rights to your photos and to anything you add to your book, such as titles and dedications. By using the Application you confirm that you have the right to use and print them, and you give the Service Provider and its print partner a limited licence to process, store and print them for the sole purpose of providing the service to you.

You are responsible for the content of your book. We and our print partner may decline to print content that is unlawful, infringing or abusive, and if we do, you will not be charged.

AI-assisted selection

The Application uses an AI service to suggest which photos to include and how to group them. The suggestions are a starting point and may be imperfect. You review and can change the selection, and you decide what is printed. We do not guarantee that a suggestion will suit your taste or that no photo you care about will be left out.

Orders and payment

The price, including standard shipping within the United States, is shown before you pay. Sales tax is calculated and added at checkout where it applies. Payment is taken by Stripe, including with Apple Pay. Your card is authorized when you pay and is charged only once our print partner has accepted your order. If the order cannot be placed, the authorization is released and you are not charged.

Orders can currently be shipped only to addresses within the United States. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and depend on printing and the carrier.

Returns, reprints and refunds

Each book is personalized and printed to order, so we cannot accept returns or cancellations for a change of mind, and an order cannot be cancelled once printing has started. If your book arrives damaged, defective or misprinted, email contact@majesticalroof.tech within 30 days of delivery with your order email address and a photo, and we will reprint it or refund you. If we cannot fulfil an order after you have been charged, we will refund you in full.

Print quality

Colours on a screen and on paper differ slightly, and the printer may crop or trim at the edges of a page within normal tolerances. The Application shows a preview, but a printed book will not match it exactly.

Your device and connection

The Application stores and processes personal data that you have provided to the Service Provider in order to provide the Service. It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your phone and access to the Application. The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your phone, which involves removing software restrictions and limitations imposed by the official operating system of your device. Such actions could expose your phone to malware, viruses, malicious programs, compromise your phone’s security features, and may result in the Application not functioning correctly or at all.

Some functions of the Application require an active internet connection, which can be Wi-Fi or provided by your mobile network provider. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if the Application does not function at full capacity due to lack of access to Wi-Fi or if you have exhausted your data allowance. Uploading a book for printing is a large transfer, so you may prefer Wi-Fi. If you use the Application outside of a Wi-Fi area, your mobile network provider’s agreement terms still apply, and you may incur charges from your provider for data usage, including roaming. If you are not the bill payer for the device you are using, they assume that you have obtained permission from the bill payer.

Similarly, the Service Provider cannot always assume responsibility for your usage of the Application. For instance, it is your responsibility to ensure that your device remains charged. If your device runs out of battery and you are unable to access the Service, the Service Provider cannot be held responsible.

Third-party services

The Application relies on third-party services that have their own terms and privacy policies: Apple (App Store and Apple Pay), Stripe (payments), Prodigi (printing and delivery) and Anthropic (AI photo selection). Our privacy policy describes what is shared with them.

Limitation of liability

While the Service Provider strives to keep the Application available and accurate, it is provided “AS IS”. To the extent permitted by law, the Service Provider is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and its total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Updates and termination

The Service Provider may wish to update the Application at some point. The Application is currently available as per the requirements for the operating system (and for any additional systems they decide to extend the availability of the Application to), and those requirements may change, and you will need to download the updates if you want to continue using the Application. The Service Provider does not guarantee that it will always update the Application so that it is relevant to you and/or compatible with the particular operating system version installed on your device. However, you agree to always accept updates to the Application when offered to you. The Service Provider may also wish to cease providing the Application and may terminate its use at any time without providing termination notice to you. Unless they inform you otherwise, upon any termination, (a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end; (b) you must cease using the Application, and (if necessary) delete it from your device. Any order you have already paid for will still be fulfilled or refunded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

The Service Provider may periodically update their Terms and Conditions. Therefore, you are advised to review this page regularly for any changes. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page. These terms are effective as of the date specified at the beginning of this document.
